Dear Church Family,
This morning at our worship service I announced our decision to close our Twin Lakes Campus. After a great deal of prayer and speaking with each of the members of the campus, we have come to the conclusion that having a worship service in Twin Lakes is not the best strategy at this time to reach the people of Twin Lakes and not sustainable for us to continue.
The Twin Lakes Campus members have invested a great deal over the past two years to grow the campus and reach Twin Lakes. While it has not worked out in the way we would have chosen, we have seen how God has grown all those who stepped up to serve and stepped out in faith to deepen them as followers of Christ. We believe that God will not waste all the effort poured out and will use this to bless our Church going forward.
Next Sunday, September 24th will be the last worship service in Twin Lakes. The following Sunday, October 1st, we will hold a joint worship service at Central High School at 10a where we will come together as one church and celebrate all God has done over the past 2 years in Twin Lakes.
Starting October 8th, we will all worship together at our Paddock Lake location at 2 services at 8:30a and 10a.
We still believe God is calling us to be a Multi-Site church, but believe we need to come together for a time of healing and to learn from the lessons of our experience in Twin Lakes to help us in our next campus in the future.
Please take the time to watch the video below that explains this decision further and feel free to reach out to myself or any of the Elders with any questions you have.
I believe God will use this to deepen and strengthen us as a church and look forward to how God will lead us going forward.
God Bless You,
Pastor Jeff Talbert
