Frequently Asked Questions

I'm a visitor. Where do I start?

Visitors are asked to check-in at the Welcome Desk in the upstairs lobby. You will get more information about our current PATHFINDERS KIDS programming there.

What happens if my child needs me during the worship service?

Parents of infants through Kindergartner will be contacted through one of the service ushers. Children 1st through 5th grade will be escorted to you during the service.

Do you allow kids to come to the worship services?

Yes! We love it when children are in the worship services.  If they get a bit too squirmy, feel free to bring them into the lobby to watch the rest of the service.

Is there a private area where I can nurse my baby?

Nursing mothers are welcome to utilize the downstairs Nursery room as well as the upstairs ladies bathroom to feed their baby.

What do you offer for children with special needs?

We currently have an inclusive classroom atmosphere, where all children learn God's word together.  Please contact Heather Nelson with your questions or concerns.

Do you have anything for moms or families?

Yes! We have multiple SMALL GROUPS and events for women. Check the Women's Ministry page for opportunities to meet other ladies.

PATHFINDERS KIDS

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Kids are important to us!

Here at Westosha Lakes Church, the word of God is at the heart of all we do.  So it is natural that PATHFINDERS KIDS sing, pray, read, and teach the Bible.

We also care deeply about children and strive to share the truth of God's word with them.  You can easily see this in the lessons, activities, music, and in the faithful service of our volunteers.

Our screened and trained volunteers understand the joy of salvation in Jesus and they cannot wait to share it with the next generation!

If you have any additional questions about PATHFINDERS KIDS at Westosha Lakes Church, email Heather Nelson, Director of Children's Ministry.

Child Dedications

Members of Westosha Lakes Church are welcome to participate in child dedication.  Child dedication is an acknowledgement by parents that they have been entrusted with their child by God.  It is also a commitment to teach, train, and model godliness for your child - a pledge you are asked to take publicly, before God and our church family.

The next child dedication is Sunday, June 16 during the worship services.  If you'd like to participate in the next child dedication, contact our church office to schedule a pastoral interview by April 14th.

INTERESTED IN SERVING?

We are always looking for gifted and Godly volunteers to care for our children.  If you regularly attend Westosha Lakes Church and would like to serve in PATHFINDERS KIDS, start the process by filling out a volunteer interest form here.
